Swimming

These are six exposed, remote beaches, all dominated by strong rips with generally wide surf zone. Use extreme care if swimming along this stretch of coast, stay well clear of rips, close inshore and on attached portions of the inner bar. The safest swimming is at protected the northern end of Stinky Bay.

Surfing

There are beach and some reef breaks the length of these beaches.

Fishing

The numerous rips and reefs also mean numerous inshore holes and gutters for beach fishing.

General

A more remote section of coast, requiring a good 4WD and knowledgeable driver to safely transit.
