Evans Cave beach (127) runs for 900 m between Stony Rise and Cape Lannes, a low sand and calcarenite bluff. The beach is relatively free of reefs and receives wave averaging 1.6 m which maintain a 100 to 200 m wide surf zone dominated by two beach rips, and boundary rips at either end.
