Factory Bay is 400 m wide rocky bay lying 1 km west of Robe township, with the scenic drive (Adam Gordon Lindsay Drive) running the length of the backing 10 to 20 m high bluffs. There is a 50 m wide bluff top reserve between the drive and the bluffs, with houses on the other side of the drive. Below the bluffs are a series of six small pockets of sand (130-135), all bordered by rocks and bluffs and fronted by exposed and submerged reefs. None of the beaches are suitable for swimming, for while the waves are relatively low, the rocks and reef produce a hazardous seabed.
Beach Length: 0.02km
General Hazard Rating: 4/10
