On the north side of Cape Blanche are four protected low energy rock dominated beaches, all lying at the base of steep slopes. The first beach (1127) begins 500 m east of the cape and extends for 1.1 km along a curving north facing embayment, and consists of a narrow strip of sand backed by 50 to 70 m high bluffs, and partially covered by crock debris from the bluffs, with rocks along and off the beach. Waves average less than 1 m and maintain a steep beach face. There is no vehicle access and no easy foot access to the beach.
