Beach 1076 is the easternmost of the beach, beginning 10 km due east of Baird Bay settlement. It is a 1.4 km south facing exposed beach, receiving some protection from deeper reefs off the beach, and bordered by 20 m high calcarenite bluffs. Waves average less than 2 m and maintain usually two beach rips as well as reef controlled rips, and a steep beach face. It is backed by unstable then stable dunes extending up to 1 km inland, then farmland. Vehicle tracks are located at both ends and the centre of the beach.
Beach Length: 1.4km
