South of the Port Neill golf course is a low protruding rocky point, with the Carrow Well beaches to either side. The golf course vehicle track terminates at the point and provides good access, while 1 km to the south is another access road, via the actual Carrow Well, which terminates in the dunes just behind the main beach. The northern Carrow Well beach (669) is a 300 m long, slightly curving east facing beach, afforded some protection by the southern point. It usually has a continuous attached bar and receives waves less than 1 m, however higher waves will generate up to three rips along the beach.
Beach Length: 0.3km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
