The eastern boundary of Beachport Conservation Park is a 4 km section of sand and rocky shore, containing seven beaches. The scenic drive terminates south of the park boundary and a 4WD is required to access the park beaches and dune areas. Beach 81 is a 700 m long southwest facing beach, with calcarenite reefs and rocks forming the boundaries, together with some offshore reefs. Waves average 1 to 1.5 m and two permanent reef-controlled rips drain the 50 m wide surf. The rocks increase toward the northern end, where beaches 82 and 83 sit as two adjoining 50 and 80 m strips of high tide sand below 10 to 20 m high calcarenite bluffs, fronted by a mixture of sand and reef.
