Port William beach (73) is a 450 m long southwest facing beach lying in lee of calcarenite reefs which lower waves at the shore to about 0.5 m, and maintain a steep, barless beach. There is a car park at the western end, which provides a good view of the beach. The remainder of the beach is backed by active dune, which extend 300 m inland and to heights of 20 m.
