McIntyre beach (E) (57) is a curving southwest facing 600 m long beach bordered by calcarenite bluffs fronted by extensive intertidal rock platforms, in addition to a reef toward the southern end. Permanent rips at either end drains the 200 m wide surf zone. The western McIntyre beach (58) is very similar, 550 m in length, bounded by 20 m high calcarenite cliffs and with two permanent rips.
