West of Wattle Point is crenulate 7 km long south to southeast facing Sheoak Beach (337). Despite is orientation the narrow high tide beach is protected by and flats then extensive seagrass meadows extending kilometres out into the strait. Seagrass debris usually covers much of the beach, which is backed by a 3 m high foredune, then a gravel road. At the western end of the beach low limestone bluffs extend for 2 km south to Tourbridge Point.
