Larc Beach (T 48 & 49) is located on the northern side of Eddystone Point. It consists of two adjoining pockets of north-facing sand bordered by the sloping granite of the point. The western beach (T 48) is a 50 m long pocket of sand, with a small outcrop separating it from the 100 m long eastern beach (T 49). Both beaches are composed of fine sand, which produces a low gradient reflective to low tide terrace beach and sandy bay floor. The Eddystone Point road passes the rear of the beach with a car park and short walking track down to beach T 49. The lighthouse is located 500 m southeast of the beaches (Fig. 4.10).
