Beach T 42 continues on the southern side of the foreland for 550 m to the rocks on the southern side of the usually blocked mouth of Deep Creek. The rocks of Picnic Rocks lie at and off the creek mouth, with some rocks extending several hundred metres offshore. The rocks and northeast to northerly orientation of the beach lower waves to less than 1 m and maintain usually reflective conditions. The Deep Creek road terminates at the car park with picnic facilities located on the southern side of the creek.
