Beach T 911 is a curving, northwest-facing 150 m long low energy sandy beach, tied to a low vegetated islet in the south and bordered by a low rocky point to the north, with reefs extending 400 m offshore. Beach T 912 lies 50 m to the east on the other side of the small boundary point and is a 50 m long high tide cobble and boulder beach grading into intertidal sand then reef. Both beaches are well protected by their orientation, the point and reefs with waves averaging 0.5 m or less at the shore. They are backed by a cleared area containing about 12 fishing shacks. The centre of the main beach is used a slipway with fishing boats often pulled up onto the beach.
