Dodgers Point is a low irregular meta-sedimentary point fringed by reefs extending up to 1 km offshore. In amongst the rocks on the northern side of the point are two small sheltered beaches (T 950 and 951). Beach T 950 is an 80 m long straight northwest-facing sandy beach fronted by a shallow bar and bordered by low rocky points that extend 200 m offshore converging to form a narrow channel. The rocks and outer reefs lower waves to less than 1 m at the shore and at low tide form a ‘lagoon’ off the beach. Beach T 951 lies 200 m to the north and is a 50 m long pocket of sand completely encased in rocks and rock reefs, with only a 20 m wide sandy gap and tidal pool off the beach at low tide. Both beaches are backed by low foredunes, grassy deflated surfaces, and then older vegetated dunes. A vehicle track reaches the rear of beach T 950.
