Broken Arm Beach (KI 34) commences at the foreland and curves to the southeast and finally south for 1.3 km terminating at a low rocky point. The beach is moderately sheltered by the southern point and reefs with waves averaging just over 1 m, which maintain a low tide terrace with rips occasionally forming along the centre of the beach, particularly against a central rock outcrop. A small creek reaches the beach in lee of the rocks, with a 4WD track reaching the creek mouth. To the east of the creek the beach is backed by northeast-trending transgressive dunes that have migrated up to 1 km and blanketed and crossed Sandblow Point, with a large active blowout presently blanketing the point. A second creek drains across the southern corner of the beach.
Beach Length: 1.3km
General Hazard Rating: 5/10
