Grassy Harbour consists of a 1 km long L-shaped attached breakwater that extends south from Jetty Point and encloses the 250 m wide harbour. Beach KI 31 is located inside the harbour and occupies 250 m of the northern shoreline, with the breakwater forming its western boundary and a jetty and the old port facilities to the west. The sheltered sandy beach is bordered by rocks on and just off the beach, with a central reflective sandy section (Fig. 4.197).
