Beach KI 30 is located on the southern side of the mine tailings. It consists of a curving 200 m long east-facing boulder beach, composed of partly rounded tailing debris. It is bordered by the main tailing slopes to the north and the irregular rocks of Jetty Point to the south, with a mine access road clipping the southern corner of the beach.
