Little Porky Beach (KI 65) occupies the centre of the bay and curves to either side of Porky Creek mouth and a central rock outcrop. The beach is 600 m long and receives waves averaging just over 1 m, which maintain a low gradient beach and low tide terrace. During higher waves rips form either side of the central rock outcrop. It is backed by three active blowouts which are climbing older vegetated dunes which rise to 34 m and extend 700 m inland (Fig. 4.202). There is vehicle access from the dairy turnoff that runs along the crest of the backing dunes to the northern end of the beach.
Beach Length: 0.6km
General Hazard Rating: 5/10
