Porky Beach (KI 67) is an exposed curving 2.2 km long west-facing beach, which receives moderate shelter from the extensive rocks and reefs that border both ends and outcrop along the beach and surf zone. Waves average about 1.5 m and maintain a series of rock- and reef-controlled rips along the beach. It is backed by the dunes rising to 60 m, which reach 3.5 km inland and cross the North Road. Vehicle tracks from the North Road reach both ends of the beach.
Beach Length: 2.2km
General Hazard Rating: 7/10
