Beach KI 45 is located 1 km to the southeast in a 250 m wide east-facing embayment on the eastern side of Stokes Point. The low energy beach faces due east and curves for 200 m along the base of the embayment. It is bordered by rocky shore and consists of a narrow high tide reflective beach. A vehicle track leads to the Stokes Point light located on a 46 m high crest, 200 m west of the beach. The dune-capped point is composed of Precambrian quartzite and extends for another 1.5 km south of the beach to the southern tip of the island.
