Sugarloaf Hill is a prominent, 30 m high knoll, around which a platform beach runs for 1.3 km. There is then a rocky gap of 1 km, before the small, 100 m long White Crest Beach, which consists of a high tide sand and boulder beach fronted by a continuous low tide platform.
