On the eastern side of Point Hicks is a 150 m long, south facing beach, bounded by prominent granite headlands extending a few hundred metres seaward. A lighthouse is located on Point Hicks.
The beach can only be reached on foot via the lighthouse track. It is moderately exposed and receives waves averaging 1.4 m which, contained by the headlands, produce a single bar beach with strong permanent rips against each headland.
