On the western side of Point Hicks are two adjoining, relatively small, exposed, west facing beaches. Both are 50 m long and are separated by protruding granite rocks. They receive waves averaging 1.4 m which maintain strong permanent rips in each. A dune blowout backs each beach.
They can only be reached on foot along a 1 km long track that runs down from the lighthouse.
