The three Easby Beaches extend for 1 800 m from Easby Head, south-west toward the eastern rocks of Wingan Point. The first (36) is located between low granite rocks; the second (37) is more continuous, with a few rocks in the centre of the beach. The third (38) is a pocket of sand surrounded on three sides by rounded granitic rocks, with a permanent rip flowing out between the rocks. All three face the south-east and are exposed to waves averaging 1.5 m, which maintain a continuous 150 m wide surf zone, containing an inner bar cut by strong rips every 250 m; then a trough and an outer bar with more widely spaced rips. Adjacent to all the major rocks and points are strong permanent rips and reefs. The coast track runs both along and behind the beach (Easby Track), with the western Wingan Point safe to walk around under normal wave conditions. Easby Creek is usually closed and reaches the coast toward the western end of the main beach.
