On the western side of Wingan Point are two small beaches. The first, Wingan Point Beach, is a 100 m long section of sand, bordered by rocks and fronted by the ebb tidal shoals of Wingan Inlet. The shoals can extend up to 200 m off the beach, with low waves usually breaking across them.
