Fisherman Cove is, as the name suggests, an area of quieter water in the energetic Bridgewater Bay. It is located around the rocks about 500 m south-west of the surf lifesaving club. The cove is 100 m long and consists of a low, flat beach, with scattered rocks, backed by grassy slopes that rise to 90 m. The cove faces east and is well protected by Cape Bridgewater, with waves averaging less than 1 m. These produce a shallow, attached bar, usually free of rips.
Beach Length: 0.1km
