Eastern Beach is the main swimming beach for Geelong. It is backed by the grassy slopes of Eastern Beach Reserve and has a 200 m long, circular swimming enclosure toward its eastern end. There are numerous facilities in the reserve and at the tidal pool, including a children's pool.

This is the safest place to swim in Geelong, with a choice of two pools and a range of other aquatic activities.
