Beach WA 381 commences at Rocky Point, a 30 m high calcarenite bluff. The 300 m long beach is wedged in between the base of the steep eroding bluffs and a continuation of the beachrock reef, lying 10-50 m offshore. Waves averaging about 2 m break heavily on the reef resulting in very hazardous conditions. They then reform in a small lagoon between the reef and beach, with relatively calm conditions at the shore.
