Beaches K 232 and 233 are adjoining beaches located in a 1 km deep bay on the western shore of the island. Beach K 232 is a 150 m long high tide beach wedged deep in the embayment. It is fronted by 500 m wide tidal flats, then another 500 m of reef flats. It is almost linked in the east to beach K 233 with a small wooded islet separating them. Beach K 233 is a similar 200 m long low energy high tide beach with a low grassy foredune located to either side of a central rock outcrop. It is fronted by 500 m wide tidal to reef flats.
