The main cove beach (RI 36) is a 250 m long sandy beach backed for 200 m by a vegetated foredune and bluffs, then narrowing as raised beachrock backs the beach. Patchy rocks, reef and sand front the beach and fill the centre of the bay. A walking track terminates above the western end of the beach.
