South Mullaway beach (NSW 87) extends south for 600 m to a 10 m high low rocky outcrop. The beach is backed by a low vegetated foredune, with a small creek crossing the northern end, and a caravan park located north of the creek. A car park sits on top of the southern head. The beach has a single bar usually cut by two beach rips and permanent rips against each headland.
