Shelly Beach (NSW 565) continues to the east and is a 150 m long northeast-facing sand beach bordered by rocks and reefs to the west and the rocks of the head to the beach. Waves average 0.5-1 m and maintain a low tide terrace, with small boundary rips, which intensify during higher waves. A car park and picnic area are located behind the beach.
