To the south of Pretty Point is a 1.3 km wide east-facing embayment, bordered to the south by Jimmies Island. McKenzies beach occupies the northern corner of the bay, with three beaches (NSW 546-548) located in the centre and south. Beach NSW 546 occupies a 300 m wide rocky bay immediately south of McKenzies. The 230 m long north-facing beach consists of a strip of high tide sand and cobbles, fronted by 50 m wide rock flats, with only one open patch of sand at the very western end of the beach, where a small creek drains into the bay. It is surrounded by densely vegetated bluffs rising to 30 m, with access round the rocks from Rosedale. The beach is unsuitable for swimming, but has shallow rocks and inshore reef for fishers.
