Mills Beach (NSW 514) faces northeast and trends from the boundary rocks southeast to the lee of Mills Point, which extends 250 m to the northeast. Waves average less than 1 m and usually maintain a steep reflective cusped beach face, with reefs extending off north point to converge 150 m off the centre of the beach. It is backed by a low foredune and the beachfront cabins of the caravan park. There is a car park in lee of the northern rocks, with access also from the caravan park.
