Tingara Reserve is located at the end of Tingara Avenue. The reserve beach (SH 42) consists of a 20 m long strip of high tide sand backed by several large sandstone boulders, with several dinghies usually resting against the boulders. The backing slope rises 10 m to the grassy grounds of Strickland House.
