Beach 1311 is a 120 m long pocket of sand lying immediately west of the Bielamah sand dunes. It is backed an bordered by 10 to 15 m high calcarenite bluffs, with reefs along the beach and extending 200 m offshore, resulting in waves averaging about 1 m at the beach.
