At the western end of beach 1314 the coast turns and trends southwest for 3 km to Rocky Point. Along this section are three protected pocket beaches. Beaches 1315 and 1316 are 50 and 150 m long respectively, faces east and lie below steep 20 m high bluffs. They are both fronted by 200 m wide shallow reefs, resulting in low wave to calm conditions at the shore.
