Point Lindsay is a low prominent recurved spit that forms the western side of Acraman Creek inlet. The 5.3 km long beach (1201) and spit receives occasional low swell which has helped build the beach up to 600 m into the bay as a series of low beach-foredune ridges, as well as more than 1 km east to partly enclose the backing creek and mangroves. A vehicle track reaches the western end of the beach, from there a 4WD track runs along the back of the beach to the point, where the inlet beach is used to launch boats.
Beach Length: 5.3km
General Hazard Rating: 2/10
