Poverty Bay (631) is a 1 km long southeast facing sand beach, that has filled a small valley. Winditite Creek flows into the valley and following heavy rain breaks out across the middle of the beach. Offshore rock reefs lower waves to about 0.5 m, which surge against the usually steep beach. There is a car park on the southern bluffs.
