The same sand flats continue on along Sim Cove beach (512), a 850 m long sand beach, bordered by the truncated dunes ridges. This beach is backed by a mixture of beachfront houses of Moonta Bay and low dunes, with public access at either end. Rossiters Point is another truncated dune ridge and forms the southern boundary of beach 513, a 650 m long sand beach fronted by a mixture of rock and sand flats, the latter widening to 250 m at the northern boundary at Moonta jetty.
