On the north side of the jetty is 150 m long Office Beach (522) wedged in between the jetty seawall and a large protruding car park. This small beach is backed by a stepped seawall and the caravan park, and fronted by 200 m wide sand flats. The car park provides access to the boat ramp, which is located next to the adjoining beach (523). This small 100 m long beach contains shade shelters and is popular with campers from the caravan park. It is bordered on its northern side by the old mine slag heaps, which used to be dumped into the bay.
