The main Loch Well Beach (1032) lies 100 m below the car park, which provides dramatic views of the beach, with wooden stairs providing safe access to the beach. The beach is usually dominated by two inner rips, with larger rips in the outer 300 m wide surf zone (Fig. 4.152).
