Walkers Rock is a protected curving 600 m long northwest to west facing ‘bay’ (1052) sheltered by reefs extending north of the southern calcarenite point (Fig. 4.155). The reefs lower waves to about 0.5 m at the shore and calms are common. There is a car park and basic camping area behind the southern end of the beach, with the beach used for launching boats. The beach terminates at a small northern sand foreland formed in lee of the reefs and a small islet lying 200 m offshore.
Beach Length: 0.6km
