At Cape Coutts the bedrock coast turns a right angle and trends due south into Antechamber Bay. Five hundred metres before the sandy bay beach is reached are two pockets of white sand (KI-52, KI-53) at the foot of densely vegetated, 100 m high bedrock slopes. These are essentially an extension of the Antechamber Bay beach, joined in the sandy nearshore, but separated by bedrock at the shoreline. The two 30 m long beaches are both bordered by steeply dipping rocks.
