The Bluff beach (KI-4) is a 750 m long, northeast facing, crenulate strip of high tide sand fronted by partially vegetated, 100 m wide, ridged sand flats, then the deep tidal channel for the bay. There is a large car park and a popular boat ramp forming the eastern boundary. It protrudes out to the edge of the tidal channel, where several boats are usually moored.
