Beach KI-117 lies 3 km west of Cape Kersaint and faces southeast toward the cape. It is moderately protected and waves refract around the southern headland and over the rock reefs, which extend 100 m off the beach. The 200 m long high tide beach is backed by steep, partly vegetated, 30 m high bluffs.
