Boxing Bay is an open, 2.5 km wide bay bordered by White Point in the west and North Cape, the northernmost tip of the island, to the east. Within the bay are four beaches, with two additional beaches on either side of the boundary points. The North Cape Road terminates at a gate 1 km south of the bay, with a restricted road leading up to the lighthouse on North Cape, otherwise the beaches are backed by bluffs and farm land, with no public access.
White Point beach (KI-213) extends 200 m west of the sand-capped, 50 m high bedrock point. It is a boulder beach fronted by an intertidal rock platform.
