On the south side of the jetty are two small beaches (KI-32 & KI-33), 120 m and 160 m long respectively, which form the sandy southern shore of Buick Point. They are separated in the centre by a boat ramp that extends 60 m across the fronting tidal flats to reach the deeper water of the tidal channel. The main road runs right round the point, providing good access to all three beaches.
