Beach KI-98 is located in an adjacent breach in the cliff line. It is a 130 m long, 30 m wide beach, which is slightly protected by reefs 500 m off shore and consequently receives moderate waves, which break across a narrow sand bar fronted by deeper reefs. Its solitary rip links with the rip from KI-97 to drain the two beaches during moderate to high waves.
