One kilometre west of the river is an isolated, southwest facing, 220 m long high tide sand beach (KI-121), fronted by near continuous rock platforms and rock reefs. A 4WD track leads to the centre of the beach and down the sand-covered, 20 m high bluffs that top the beach. While the reefs do lower the waves along the western half of the beach, the entire system is drained by one permanent rip that tends to run out against the western headland.
Beach Length: 0.22km
General Hazard Rating: 8/10
